💰 Refund & Cancellation Policy – Gaming Cruiser

At Gaming Cruiser, we understand that plans can change. These policies help ensure fairness to all customers while allowing us to schedule staff, fuel, generators, and equipment effectively.

This policy applies to all bookings made through our website, phone, email, or social media.

📅 Cancellations by the Customer

Notice Before EventPolicy

7+ days before eventFree to reschedule, deposit fully credited to new date

3–6 days before eventBooking may be rescheduled, but deposit is non-refundable

0–2 days before eventFull booking fee may be charged, no refunds due to late cancellation

Rescheduling is based on availability.

🚫 No-Show Policy

If the event organizer is not present at the scheduled time and we cannot begin within 30 minutes, the event may be cancelled with no refund.

⏱ Late Start by Customer

We arrive on time and begin setup as scheduled. If guests arrive late or the event starts late due to customer delay, no extra time is added and no partial refunds are issued.

🌧 Weather-Related Cancellations

Safety is our priority. We may cancel or reschedule events due to conditions such as:

  • Extreme temperatures

  • Severe storms

  • Unsafe roads or parking conditions

  • Generator restrictions due to environment hazards

If we cancel for safety reasons:

✔ You may reschedule
✔ OR request a full refund of any deposit or payments

🚐 Parking & Accessibility Issues

The customer is responsible for ensuring there is a safe lawful space at least 40 ft long for the Gaming Cruiser.

If we arrive and cannot park safely due to space, access, or bylaw restrictions:

  • We will attempt to find alternate parking nearby

  • If no safe option exists, the booking may be cancelled with no refund

⚙ Cancellations by Gaming Cruiser (Mechanical / Emergency)

In the rare event of:

  • Mechanical failure

  • Staff emergency

  • Power or equipment malfunction

We will:

✔ Reschedule your event at no cost
OR
✔ Provide a full refund of payments or deposits

No additional compensation is guaranteed.

👥 Event Behavior & Rule Violations

If gameplay must be paused or the event is ended early due to rule violations or unsafe behavior, refunds will not be issued.

🧾 Deposits & Payments

  • Deposits are used to secure a specific date and time and are non-refundable within 7 days of the event.

  • Full payments made in advance are subject to the cancellation rules above.

  • Gift cards and promotional credits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another date or person.

🛑 Refunds Not Issued For

  • Guests changing their mind about games or consoles available

  • Lack of internet access at private locations (online gaming works only at Play Toon)

  • Low guest attendance or cancellations by invitees

  • Shortened event due to customer delay

  • Disruptive behavior requiring early shutdown

📌 How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

  • Your name

  • Event date

  • Booking name

  • Reason for cancellation

By booking the Gaming Cruiser, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
